The album reviews are intended to give reliable feedback to the artists, producers, graphic designers and all other professionals that work on similar projects.

(#3) December 2021 This week we have ratings for two projects: 1. 'Space City Dreamin' Album by Keifin 2. 'Still Can: Red' Album by A+ Styles

 

Album Report Card For Space City Dreamin


Keifin dropped the 18 song album 'Space City Dreamin' on Crowded this year. Keifin is an artist from Houston and reps H-Town in his music. He uses his Space Trap like beats and verses to convey high energy to the listeners. The Beat Selection of Space City Dreamin received an overall score of 3/5. The bass/drums received the highest (3.3/5). The Melody and Mix & Mastering both scored a 3/5. "The tracks sounded good, but you can tell the tracks needed a little more fine tuning." The overall Lyricism received a score of 2.9/5. The lyrical content scored the highest with a 3/5 and the delivery scored the lowest with a 2.6/5. "The songs had high energy, but the delivery could have been a little more smooth." The overall creativity received a score of 3.2/5. The flow/arrangement of the songs scored the lowest with a 3.3/5, while the cover art received the highest score with a 4/5. The cover art received a perfect score from several members. "The cover art was the perfect representation of the project." The features from Space City Dreamin were held in high regard also-receiving a score of 3.8/5. Album Report Card For Still Can: Red


A+ Styles "Still Can: Red" was released on all platforms in 2020. A+ Styles has been in the industry for a few years and fans are always excited for his releases. The Beat Selection scored an almost perfect 4.2/5. The bass/drums scored the lowest with a 3.9/5, while the melody and mix & mastering both scored a 4.3/5. "It seems like every track was specifically molded around his sound." The committee gave the overall Lyricism a 4.3/5. The content scored the highest with a 4.5/5 and the delivery scored an impressive 4.1/5. "We did not hear the word gun, opp, kill or a reference to physically harming anyone in his music. We need more of this type of art." The overall creativity of the project received a 3.2/5. The flow of the album received the highest score, 3.6/5 and the cover art received a 3.1/5. "The songs were arranged great, but the features were just not memorable (3/5). Overall Score: 3.9/5 - It's a Hit. Best Project of Year Quality. Album Report Card For Dia de Muerte 3: Viva La LOcifer


Lo Trillinger's annual Dia de Muerte Album came with a surprise this year -- a double album release! Dia de Muerte 3: Viva La LOcifer & UGKP (Under Ground King Pin). Both albums were well received by fans and quickly rose up the Crowded Weekly Charts. The following review will focus only on Dia de Muerte 3: Viva La LOcifer. Every Dia de Muerte album is filled with skillful story telling, wisdom and first hand accounts of real life experiences. The Production of Lo Trillinger's latest installment received an overall score of 3.5/5 stars. The Bass, Melody and Mix & Master each received a 3.5 for a consistent above average score. The Lyricism received an overall score of 4/5 stars, with both the content and delivery receiving 4 stars. The committee gave special praise to Lo Trillinger's delivery of the lyrics. "You can hear the emotion in every word." The overall Creativity scored 3.3/5 stars. The cover art landed the lowest score from the committee, while the arrangement of the songs received the highest score. "Too much information on the cover art." Album Report Card For Best You Knew


Scooyunda, AKA Scooby from the legendary group GRiT Boys, has been releasing singles over the last couple of years for his fans. In late 2020, Scooyunda released an E.P., Best You Knew. Along with the release, Scooyunda also performed the album via livestream with a live band--which caused a host of other artists to follow his lead. In 2021, Scooyunda released Best You Knew (Deluxe) with a variety of new songs and features (available everywhere). The following review is only for the original Best You Knew E.P. (2020). The overall Production of Best You Knew (2020) received 3/5 stars from the committee. The overall melody scored the highest while the mix & master scored the lowest. "The melody gave that chill vibe that you expect from Scooyunda." The overall Lyricism received a score of 2.7/5. The lyrical content received the highest score and the delivery received the lowest score. "I can tell he is trying to change his delivery, it just needs more time to develop." The overall Creativity received a score of 2.2/5. The features on the project received the highest score and the cover art received the lowest score. Album Report Card For Every Step Is A Struggle

The final Album Report Card is for Every Step Is A Struggle by D3CADE. This 2019 project is one of many D3CADE has released over the years. D3CADE is an artist, brand ambassador and activist with a lot of passion for music and a true supporter of underground music. The overall Production for Every Step Is A Struggle received a 2.2/5. The bass scored the highest, while the mix & master scored the lowest. "Some songs were missing that quality studio sound." The overall Lyricism received a 2.9/5 from the committee. The content scored the highest and the delivery scored the lowest. "You can hear the honesty and passion in his lyrics." Album Report Card For Blood Of An Immigrant


The latest full album release by Papo, Blood Of An Immigrant, is an ode to the people who are affected by poor immigration policies, unfair treatment and the overall struggle of survival. You can hear the passion in the lyrics with every song. The overall production received 3/5 stars. The bass line and melody received less that average reviews and the mix & master scored the highest in this category. The overall lyricism received 3/5 stars. The committee gave the lyrical content the lowest score, citing that some lyrics are repetitive through the album. The delivery of the content received the highest score with the passion that Papo brought being the driving force behind their decision. The overall creativity received a score of 2.5/5 stars. The committee gave the features on the album and the arrangement of the songs the lowest score-citing that some features did not fit the overall theme of some songs and that the arrangement did not fit to the theme of the album. The cover art received the highest score by the committee. "The album cover art fit perfectly with the title." Album Report Card For Killionaire


The latest E.P. release by Cartel Vega, Killionaire, is a project with melodic songs-which is a mastered skillset of Cartel Vega. Both songs give you the melodic vibe that you did not know you wanted to hear. The overall production received 3.75/5 stars. The bass line received the lowest reviews and the melody highest in this category. "The melody really draws you into the overall theme of each song." The overall score for lyricism 3.5/5 stars. The committee gave the lyrical content the lowest score, citing that some lyrics did not fit the theme of the songs. The delivery of the content received the highest score and almost received the first perfect score from the committee. "The flows fit perfectly with the melody of the songs." The overall creativity received a score of 3.3/5 stars. The committee gave the the arrangement of the songs the highest score. The cover art received a low score by the committee. "The covert are did not allude to any of the content and did not fit the overall theme of the project ." Overall Score: 3.6/5 - This is a must listen project and approaching hit territory. The final Album Report Card is of the mixtape 'Son Of A Hustler' by 33trapper, an award winning Trailride artist and #1 artist on Crowded Streaming. Son Of A Hustler is a traditional mixtape as it features re-used production from mainstream artists with new lyrics added by 33trapper. The overall production received 2.6/5 stars. The mix & master received a score of 0, because the beats were re-used and not mixed by the artist. Without the mix & master sub-category, the unofficial overall production is 3.33/5. The melody received the highest score in this category. The overall score for lyricism 3.3/5 stars. The committee gave the lyrical content the lowest score, citing that the topics of the songs were mostly the same. The delivery of the content received the highest score.
