Renting with driver or self-drive in Dubai?
First time in Dubai, is it better to rent with a driver or just take the car myself? Worried about traffic and police.

Traffic is fine once you get used to it, roads are excellent. I always self-drive. Recently rented a Mercedes GLE from these guys https://sosrentcars.com/ – they offer both options actually. Went self-drive, no issues, unlimited mileage, and insurance was clear. If you’re nervous the first day, take their driver for a couple hours, then switch to self-drive. Much cheaper than full-time chauffeur services.
